Hi my beautiful friends, here’s an easy and festive nail tutorial for you.  It’s perfect for Christmas and it’s absolutely adorable!  Just follow along and I am sure you can do it.  Don’t forget to show me your re-creation on facebook and instagram, just hashtag #glittermommynailart.

Here are the tools and nail polishes you will need to create this design:

Dotting Tools or Back of a Bobby Pin:

Base Coat

Light Blue (Sally Hansen in 481 Breezy Blue)

 

For the Reindeer design, you will need:

White (OPI in Alpine Snow)

Red (Sephora by OPI in Mr. Right Now)

Dark Brown (Essie in Partner in Crime)

Black Nail Striper

 

 

 

For the Snowman design, you will need:

Orange (Sally Hansen in 150 Sun Kissed)

White (OPI in Alphne Snow)

Red (Sephora by OPI in Mr. Right Now)

Black Nail Striper

 

 

 

Accent Nail

Multi- Colour Glitter (Sally Hansen in Strobe Light)

Silver Glitter (Essie in Set in Stones)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reindeer Design:

Step 1: Put on Base Coat

Step 2: Apply 2 coats of light blue                               Step 3:  Draw a half circle with brown nail                                                                                                                                                        polish on thumb

 

Step 4: Put two white dots as eyes and a big white dot for the nose

Step 5: Use black nail polish to dot the eyes and use the black nail striper to draw the antler

Step 6: Finally put red onto the white nose

 

Snowman Design:

Step 1: Put 2 white big blobs onto the middle figure as the structure of the snowman

Step 2: Put 2 black dots as eyes and 3 black dots as buttons

Step 3: Use orange polish to dot the nose and drag the tools to make it pointy

Step 4: Use the black nail striper to draw the top hat

Step 5: Finally, use the red nail striper to draw the scarve

 

Snow design on 2nd finger and pinky:

Step 1: Use white polish to randomly dot on top of the nail with various sizes

Step 2: Use silver polish to randomly dot on top of the nail with various sizes

Accent 4th Finger:

Step 1: Apply silver glitter onto the 4th finger

Step 2: Apply multi-colour glitter onto the finger to finish it off

Finally, put a fast drying top coat to protect your design and add a beautiful shine.  Here’s the final product:
